Cancellation Policy or early departure in Austria
🇬🇧 Cancellation Policy for Accommodations in Austria
Legal framework and common practice
In Austria, the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (AGBH) apply as the standard for tourist accommodations, unless expressly stated otherwise. These conditions were created by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO) and provide a legally sound basis for cancellations, no-shows, and early departures.
According to the AGBH 2006, standard cancellation terms apply to individual bookings (max. 10 persons). You can find these terms on the WKO website: www.wko.at
AH Carinthia Mallnitz – Carinthia Appartements uses a flexible cancellation policy with the following conditions:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival
50% of the total price for cancellations between 30 and 14 days before arrival
80% of the total price for cancellations between 14 and 7 days before arrival
100% of the total price for cancellations within 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show
Additional recommendation:
If you are unsure, we recommend taking out travel or cancellation insurance.
Early Departure
In the event of an early departure after check-in, the full amount for the booked stay will be charged in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry 2006 (AGBH 2006). No refund will be given for unused nights.
We recommend taking out travel or cancellation insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen events.
In exceptional cases (e.g. illness or family emergencies), we reserve the right to offer individual solutions as a gesture of goodwill – such as a partial refund or a voucher for a future stay. Please contact us directly in such cases.
